Ex Chinese soldier now living in No. 3 hut Argyle St. Camp. I knew Wong Ka Yan who lived in hut No.2. Early on moming of 30th May I heard a voice calling "save life". I was then in No.3 hut. I went at once to No. 2 hut where I saw Lo Yee & Li Kwong holding accused. I saw that accused had a knife in his hand. I took the knife from him. This is the knife (Ex. B), I handed the knife to our Chinese teacher Siu Lam. When I was in hut No. 2 deceased was lying on the ground. He was wearing red trousers like these (Ex. C). I saw a wound on his right arm & another on his right thigh near his private parts. Dresser Joseph Nak came to the hut & deceased was taken to hospital.

Deceased was lying under the second electric light from the North end close to the bunk coloured blue. Accused was then at the south side of the blue bunk. I did not hear accused say anything. I didn't hear deceased say anything. I did not examine deceased's bed. I did not see a blanket.
